I want to make a contribution or take a distribution from my account. How do I do this?
In order to process this request, you must be an authorized user on the account. We will need to speak directly with you to confirm this request. During the call we will discuss such details as: the purpose of the request, dollar amount, how you would like to transact the request (check, ACH, wire). You may need to complete some paperwork, dependent upon the request.
I want to share a document with you, but I don’t want to email it. What do I do?
Please give us a call. We can provide a secure link for direct upload to our digital storage platform. We highly recommend that you do NOT use email to transmit materials containing sensitive personal data (for example: voided checks, statements displaying full account numbers, driver’s licenses – to name a few). We can also send you a secure email with encryption for you to reply with your documents. This is an alternative if you cannot utilize the secure folder upload feature.
I would like to mail a check for deposit into my account. Where do I mail it?
Our office has remote deposit capability. Please mail the check to our office at: The Investment Advisory Group, 651 Holiday Drive, Plaza 5 Suite 400, Pittsburgh, PA 15220. Please call or email us to let us know it is being sent so we can confirm its arrival. Dependent upon circumstances, the option is also available to mail it directly to the custodian; please call our office for details.
I do not remember my password for the Client Portal. How do I reset it?
For the Client Portal, use the “Forgot password?” link on the log-in page; follow the instructions in the email you will receive to reset your password.
My accountant is looking for my tax documents. My banker needs a most recent statement for my loan application. Can you provide the documents directly to him/her?
We will gladly work with your trusted advisers (accountants, attorneys, bankers, etc). Please call our office to discuss the details of such a request. Tax documents and monthly account statements are also available on the Client Portal for direct download to your own trusted devices.
I would like to donate to my favorite charity. How do I go about doing this?
In order to process this request, you must be an authorized user on the account. Paperwork will be needed to process such a request. We will gladly work with your charity to gather all the information necessary for the paperwork. You may also instruct us to keep your name confidential while we gather the data from the charity.
